Fuksien ensimmäinen akateeminen pöytäjuhla eli sitsit sitsataan keskiviikkona 25.9. klo 18.00 Club Escapessa. Ovet aukeavat klo 17.30, joten kannattaa tulla ajoissa paikalle (myöhästyjiä odottaa rangaistus)! Näille sitseille ovat tervetulleita erityisesti fuksit, sillä fuksisitseillä on tarkoitus opettaa heidät perinteisten akateemisten pöytäjuhlien tavoille. Älä kuitenkaan pelästy sanaa ”akateeminen pöytäjuhla” — ei nämä mitkään pukujuhlat ole! Riittää, että olet pukeutunut teeman mukaisesti ja saavut ajoissa paikalle. Sen jälkeen voit vain nauttia hyvästä seurasta ja hauskoista juhlista. Sitsiohjesääntöön voit etukäteen tutustua täältä.

Halusitko lapsena palavasti pelastaa ihmisiä valkoinen takki päällä tai paloautolla huristellen? Vai oliko sinun haaveenasi työpaikka karkkikaupan myyjänä tai TV-tähtenä? Fuksisitsien teemana on tänä vuonna Lapsuuden unelma-ammatit, joten kaiva varastostasi haaveidesi tamineet päälle ja tule elämään unelmaasi ainakin yhden illan ajaksi!

Ilmoittautuminen sitseille alkaa keskiviikkona 11.9. klo 14.00. Fuksisitsit eivät usein ole jääneet tyhjiksi, joten hanki lippusi nopeasti! Fukseille on varattu erikseen paikkoja, mutta nekin ovat hyvin haviteltuja!

HUOM!
Sitsit kustantavat holillisina 16,50€ ja holittomina 14,50€.  Liput sisältävät kaksi pitkää juomaa (olut ja siideri, holittomassa virvoitusjuomat), kaksi shottia (holillisessa vodkaa), jälkiruokadrinkin sekä ruokailun. Jos haluat holillisen vaihtoehdon, niin valitse alta vain oikea lippu: Fuksilippu / Yleinen lippu. Jos taas haluat holittoman vaihtoehdon valitse alapuolelta oikea lippu (fuksi tai yleinen) + poista alkoholi -lippu esim. Fuksilippu + Poista alkoholi! Muista myös mainita erityisruokavalioistasi kommenttiosiossa, myös kasvisruokavalio/vegaanisuus! 

Tapahtumassa käytetään STYROL-laulukirjaa. Laulukirjoja myydään paikan päällä, mutta suosittelemme ostamaan laulukirjan ilmoittautumisen yhteydessä valitsemalla lisäksi STYROL-lipun (10€). STYROL on käytössä kaikilla Jyväskylän yliopiston luonnontieteellisillä ainejärjestöillä, eikä sen omistajan tarvitse sitseillä olla aina vieruskaverin armoilla!

This sitsfest is held in Finnish, but anyone is welcome to participate.

The freshers’ first academic table party, known as sitsfest will be held on Wednesday, September 25th, at 6:00 PM at Club Escape. The doors open at 5:30 PM, so it’s a good idea to arrive early (latecomers will face a penalty)! These sitsfest are especially meant for freshers, as the goal of the freshers’ sitsfest is to teach them the traditions of academic table parties. However, don’t be scared by the term “academic table party” — this isn’t a formal event! It’s enough to dress according to the theme and arrive on time. After that, you can just enjoy good company and a fun party. You can check the rules of Ynnä’s sitsfest here (Only available in Finnish, Google’s translation is not great so ChatGPT is recommended. For example when the rules mention periods, they are referring to periods of time in the event, not ones menstrual cycle.).

Did you dream as a child of rescuing people in a white coat or speeding around in a fire truck? Or was your dream job working as a candy store clerk or a TV star? This year’s theme for the freshers’ sitsfest is Childhood Dream Jobs, so dig out your dream attire and come live your dream for at least one evening!

Registration for the sitsfest begins on Wednesday, September 11th, at 2:00 PM. Fresher sitsfest rarely has empty seats, so be quick to get your ticket! Separate spots are reserved for freshers, but they are highly sought after as well!

NOTE!
The sitsfest costs €16.50 with alcohol and €14.50 without alcohol. The tickets include two long drinks (beer and cider, non-alcoholic options available), two shots (vodka in the alcoholic version), a dessert drink, and a meal. If you want the alcoholic option, just select the correct ticket from below: Fuksilippu (Fresher ticket) / Yleinen lippu (General ticket). If you want the non-alcoholic option, select the correct ticket (fresher or general) + ”Poista alkoholi (Remove alcohol)” ticket, e.g., Fresher Ticket + Remove Alcohol! Also, don’t forget to mention any dietary restrictions in the comment section, including vegetarian/vegan diets!

The STYROL songbook will be used during the event. Songbooks will be sold on-site, but we recommend purchasing the songbook during registration by selecting the STYROL ticket (€10). STYROL is used by all natural science student organizations at the University of Jyväskylä, and owning one means you won’t have to rely on your neighbor’s copy at future sitsit!
